"Signs Of Life" released 26th April 2010

Greetings All!

This is a rare and exciting event for me - my second CD "Signs Of Life" is now available for listening/download/purchase at my BandCamp site and will soon also be at local stores.

http://jiguma.bandcamp.com/album/signs-of-life-2

At the site, you can:
  • Listen to the 12 tracks from the album (in lo-res, compressed format) plus the two bonus tracks. The songs are all written by me, and recorded with musicians from the US, Norway and Cobargo :) over the past 9 months or so. Although the songs span a number of genres, they mostly fit in the broader category of "indie rock" with tinges of RnB, jazz, modern country, prog and "alt pop".
  • Download the album in your choice of hi-res 320k mp3, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire - download includes two bonus tracks "Down That Street" (my most popular track so far, with over 6500 plays) and "Under My Skin" and a full PDF Booklet containing all lyrics and complete song notes.
  • Purchase the CD - shipped within 3 days. There are 12 songs on the CD, all recorded in full 44.1kHz/16-bit - "CD quality" - audio. Purchasing the CD also includes free immediate download of the 14 track album as described above. The initial run of the CD is limited to 100 copies with full colour diskface art.
The CD - like the songs - is totally produced in my studio at Pambula Beach. Photography, art work, design, printing etc is "home grown". Earnings from the sale of the CD will go directly towards upgrading my studio so I can work with more young local musicians.

My first CD - "jiguma dreaming" - is also available at the same site.

Here's a YouTube video of "The Thin Man Dreams" from the album:

I hope you'll take the time to have a bit of a listen - my personal favourites are "Amsterdam", "Lost In Translateion", "Waiting For The Rain To Fall" if you'd like a suggestion :)

If you like the album, please spread the word.

Cheers, and happy listening,
Neil
